 NAIL PRODUCTS

GEL POLISH:

Shellac is a BRAND of Gel Polish! Ok now that’s out of the way...Gel Polish is a pigmented gel- like polish that is cured under a UV/LED lamp . Once cured it is completely dry and ready to go! It will slowly grow out with your nail so it will have to be removed by soaking off with acetone before another colour is applied. Do not pick off your gel polish! I cannot stress that enough. It’s adhered your nail so when it is picked off layers of your natural nail comes off too. That is where damage happens, not the polish itself.

ACRYLIC:

A nail enhancement created using a powder (acrylic) and liquid (monomer). Mixed together it creates a paste that hardens when exposed to oxygen. I use this product to extend nails using forms (a sort of sticker) fitted perfectly to your natural nail.

SOFT GEL OR SOAK OFF GEL :

Very similar to Hard Gel but it is even more flexible and is able to be soaked off with acetone. I use this product for my structured/overlay manicures

HARD GEL OR BUILDER GEL:

A thicker consistency gel that can be either used to create length or on the natural nail as an overlay for added strength. This product must be filed off with an e-file drill and not able to be soaked off with acetone.

APRES GEL-X EXTENSIONS:

A soak off gel extension system. They are created using a soft gel and are attached using gel. A good option for sets for a short time! A new set is applied each time
